Results over rhetoric.

I'm here to serve House District 9

Ready to carry on the work. Ready to fight for our coast.

Choosing to run for office shouldn't be taken lightly. It's a job that requires knowledge, ideas, and experience. I'm running because our district deserves a representative like Rep. Boomer Wright who will follow in his footsteps–putting constituents first, not party insiders or special interests.

"I have worked with Troy Cribbins for awhile. His breadth of knowledge on rural hospital issues from being on the board to his deep knowledge in the Coos Bay area as a City Councilor make him easily the best fit to start day one representing the district. I wholeheartedly endorse him for State Representative."

Republican to the core

I believe in the Constitution, the Second Amendment, and limited government.

We know what we need better than bureaucrats in Salem. We actually live here.

We're the ones dealing with the real-world consequences of their one-size-fits-all policies. I'll fight for local control, not more agendas from people who've never set foot in our communities.

Our government should respect our hard-earned taxes and be accountable.

Every tax dollar comes from someone's paycheck or business. I'll fight to keep your money working here—in our schools, roads, and communities—not disappearing into Portland bureaucracy.

Housing and affordability aren't politics. They're real problems we need fixed!

Young families can't buy homes, and workers can't afford to live near their jobs. I believe we need less red tape, lower fees, and policies that help working families stay here.

a common guy on a mission

I'm Troy, a life-long Oregonian, listener, and advocate.

I’m Troy Cribbins, and like many people here, my family’s roots run deep in Coos County. My family homesteaded near Bridge, and after getting my education and becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I came back home in 2006. This is where my wife and I chose to raise our three kids—all proud graduates of Coos County schools.

I owned Access Rehabilitation, a physical therapy staffing company for over eight years, and am the current Administrator for Pacific Home Health & Hospice, and as such, I have a front-row seat to the challenges that face our community in accessing healthcare services.

As a Coos Bay City Councilor—appointed in 2023 and elected by you in 2024—I’ve been working on the issues that matter most to our community. Now I’m running for State Representative because our families need someone in Salem who’s actually run a business, met a payroll, and dealt with the real-world impact of government decisions.

The South Coast is an incredible place to build a life. But keeping it that way takes more than good intentions. It takes proven leadership.

big issues that matter to me

If this is what you've been thinking, then we've got the same goals.

We believe healthcare shouldn't mean a 2-hour drive.

  • I see it every day in my practice: patients driving 2+ hours for specialists, clinics struggling to stay staffed, families choosing between prescriptions and groceries.
  • Cut the red tape that’s strangling rural hospitals and making it impossible to recruit doctors to the coast.
  • Stop letting Salem favor Portland while our facilities close and our neighbors go without care.
  • Telehealth should be standard, not a luxury—let people see their doctor without losing a day’s work to drive to Eugene.

Our kids deserve better than one-size-fits-all.

  • Our teachers deserve support, not mandates written by people who’ve never set foot in one of our classrooms.
  • Vocational training matters here—not every kid needs a four-year degree, but every kid deserves a path to a good-paying job in logging, fishing, or trades.
  • Fund classrooms, not bureaucracy—let’s get tax dollars to our own teachers and students, not Salem administrators.
  • Parents know their kids best—education decisions should be made here, not dictated from the capital.

"Troy Cribbins will be an outstanding advocate for District 9, in fact for all of Oregon. Troy’s principled, collaborative and will work well with all….just what Oregon needs more of. And he will go to bat for the South Coast. He has my support. I hope he has yours."

Reedsport

Hard work should pay off, not get taxed to death.

  • I make payroll every month—I know what happens when Salem passes another tax or regulation that drives up costs.
  • Our resource industries are under attack by politicians who’ve never worked a day in the woods or on a boat.
  • No to carbon taxes and fuel regulations that make it more expensive to live and work here while doing nothing for the environment.
  • Small businesses need less government, not more—let people earn a living without Sacramento-style red tape.

We want freedom, rights, and common sense.

  • Veterans earned better than having to drive hours for services—bring those resources to the coast.
  • Property rights and individual freedom matter more than feel-good policies that don’t work in rural Oregon.
  • The Second Amendment isn’t negotiable—period.
  • Government should get out of the way and let hardworking people take care of their families and communities.

"Troy is a deeply ingrained member of our community with many ideas and high levels of motivation to improve our standard of living and local conditions. In our dealings, I have found him to be fair, forward-thinking, and engaged with both improvements and new ideas."

Coos County Sheriff

I'd be honored for your vote may 2026

Why my experience matters. Talk is cheap.

  • I've actually run a business. I've hired people, made payroll, and dealt with regulations that made no sense
  • I've been elected and served on City Council. I've had to make real decisions on budgets and public safety, not just talking about them
  • I've lived the consequences of Salem's decisions. And I know the hell they've been bringing to our families
  • Proven leadership beats political résumés. Because we need someone who's done the work, not someone who's worked for politicians

I have had the pleasure of serving as Coos Bay’s Mayor along side Troy Cribbins as a city councilor. He is an excellent councilor who dedicated himself to the position. He understands the needs of the City of Coos Bay and the vital role the State of Oregon plays in our city and surrounding area’s success. Troy would be an advocate for our district."
